Rotational moulding is a hybrid technology:
it combines the precision and performance of high-tech machines
with the care and skills of a craftsman
AN EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR MORE COMPLEX PRODUCTS
Rotational moulding is a technology able to produce hollow plastic bodies with unique features: products able to meet the highest quality standards and the most exacting requirements, guaranteeing unequalled quality, resistance and durability.
Compared with other types of moulding, rotational moulding produces stress-free pieces with no welds or joints: parts are made in a single go, simplifying post-moulding processing.
As no other mechanical force, apart from the rotation, is applied during the melting and moulding of the plastic, the finished product has a uniform thickness, excellent mechanical resistance and dimensions in accordance with the design drawings.”
Pieces with large and small dimensions can be produced with rotational moulding, (Simplast India produces pieces up to a maximum of 3 metres) with complicated contours and professional surface finishes. The low tooling costs represent an extremely affordable solution for large and small scale production volumes.
THE ADVANTAGES OF ROTOMOULDING
